Here in Phuket, there are few schools and hotels that do not have access to a pool – yet there are incredibly few people, and in particular organisational staff, that are properly trained in pool side rescue.
This a highly valuable course for those what work in and or around poolside venues but it’s important to note this is not a bespoke lifeguarding course. Indeed this course is designed to enable anyone to rescue potential victims from the water, without venturing in themselves.
The course covers instruction in the proper use and deployment of flotation and life saving devices, and how to extract people from the water. From children falling in, or getting into deep water, to guests who’ve had one or two margaritas too many, the gorgeous, crystal blue relaxation pool can be deadly.
