As water based activities play such a large and important part of island life in Phuket, and in the general region, it is essential that professionally trained individuals are available, making pool side and marine activities both fun and safe. SGS Training Centre offers a wide range of Life-guarding and Water Rescue courses to suit everyone, with classes as short as 1 day for basic pool side skills to a full 4 day course, leading to an Accredited Professional Lifeguard Certification.
Every course is taught by a professional lifeguard instructor, and includes practical hands on experience and course handouts for review for every course participant. Covering everything from water safety to lifeguarding, preventing water emergencies, rescue and resuscitation, each successful course participant of any of the SGS Training Centre water based courses will learn skills needed to respond to an emergency at any given time. The knowledge, skills and confidence acquired through the SGS Training Centre can prepare to be able to save a life.
