All SGS Guards Must
- Undergo and pass an initial drug and alcohol screening test
- Be screened and fully vetted through local and national law enforcement databases
- Participate in Fire, Safety, Drug Abuse and First Aid workshops at least once a year
- Receive ongoing Security Training for the duration of their SGS career
- Undergo a monthly written and oral English exam
- Undergo and pass a drug and alcohol screening test every two months
SGS Provides All Guards
- Free Medical Coverage for them and their immediate family (SGS Group Medical Plan)
- Heavily subsidised clean and comfortable living accommodations
- Free and safe transportation to and from the client site
- An above-average salary, not including overtime
Our roots and our reach
Founded in Phuket in 2007 as Siam Guardian Services, SGS was built from the start as a permanent, in-house security operation — not a labour-broker that simply places staff with clients and walks away.
Every supervisor and manager on our team has spent years inside the company. Most started as guards, were trained in-house, and have come up through the operations chain. That continuity is what allows us to operate consistently across permanent sites, planned events and unplanned incidents.
We serve clients across Phuket, Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Krabi and the wider Southern Thailand region.
