How the deployment works
Every engagement runs on the same four-stage process:
- Pre-event meeting and walkthrough — at the venue with the planner, the venue’s own security and any travelling close protection teams. We build the run-of-show into the security plan.
- Ramp-up — load-in security, supplier checks, perimeter set-up before guests arrive.
- Event day — commanded deployment from venue open to last guest out, scaled to the crowd, alcohol stage and VIP arrivals.
- Post-event debrief — a written summary of the day, any incidents and recommendations for the next event.
Coordination with hotels, venues and planners
Most of our event work is hosted at the five-star hotels and private villa estates we already service as permanent clients. That means the SGS team is often already familiar with the venue, the management and the existing security infrastructure — before the event is even booked.
For external venues, the pre-event walkthrough is non-negotiable.

Do you provide event security for private weddings?
Yes — private wedding security is one of our most-requested event services. We coordinate with the venue, wedding planner and any travelling VIP security to deliver a low-profile but layered plan.
Can you provide event security in venues outside Phuket?
Yes — we routinely deploy event teams to Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Krabi and other Southern Thailand venues. Logistics, accommodation and timing are arranged in the pre-event plan.
Do you coordinate with the hotel's in-house security team?
Always. The pre-event meeting includes the venue's security manager. We agree the demarcation, communications channel and escalation chain before guests arrive.
How do you handle incidents during the event?
A senior supervisor commands the response and escalates to management and emergency services as needed. Every guard on shift carries radio communications and knows the documented incident protocol.
