Event security on the Laguna estate
SGS provided the security for the Laguna Phuket Marathon 2026, Phuket's biggest running event: crowd control at the start and finish, traffic management on the estate roads, access control at race-pack collection and the VIP zone, and coverage from before dawn until the last runner was through. The same structure applies to the weddings, galas and sporting events the estate hosts through the season. An SGS event team is drawn from long-serving supervisory staff, and every event gets a pre-event meeting, a ramp-up period, event-day operations and a written debrief.
Gated estates in Cherngtalay and Layan
The villa estates behind Bangtao are where most of the island's high-value residential development has gone in the last decade. Their security problem is not the beach, it is the gate: dozens of contractors, cleaners, pool technicians and delivery riders a day, each of whom needs to be checked against a list without slowing down residents. SGS works inside these estates in two ways: as the estate gatehouse team under the estate manager, and as dedicated villa-level officers for individual owners who want their own guard inside the estate.
